PCSG’s industry-leading services can be called-off by public sector bodies via G-Cloud following our awarding of a place on the latest iteration of the framework.
Our submissions for a place on Lot 2 (cloud software) and Lot 3 (cloud support services) on the G-Cloud 11 framework were both successful.
G-Cloud – which allows public sector organisations including central government, local councils and NHS Trusts to buy services from pre-approved suppliers – is a critical route for smaller organisations to promote their technology services.
Established in 2012, it seeks to make the process of public sector IT purchasing more efficient, cost-effective and transparent and helps ensure the market is open to SMEs, not just behemoths such as Microsoft and Google. It has been instrumental in modernising public sector IT.
Services and tools available from PCSG through the framework include GeoConnect+, our cloud-based platform which hosts and connects asset information with datasets from other internal systems and external data sources.
It supports decision making and day-to-day activities by bringing together a wealth of information in one place, presenting it in a compelling way and making it easily accessible to those who need it.
Our range of services available under the framework will also include data analytics and security, Building Information Modelling (BIM) solutions and the management of design and construction information.
Adrian Burgess, PCSG’s Technology Director, said: “We are delighted to be on the G-Cloud 11 framework and look forward to helping more public sector organisations get more value from their existing asset data”.
More than £4.79bn of cloud and digital services have been procured by public bodies through G-Cloud since 2012.
