Why become a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) ?

  • In the last decade, PC based networks have grown from small, text sharing systems to large and powerful, resource sharing systems. Consequently, PC Networks require considerable knowledge and expertise to manage effectively.
  • Before, network administration and engineering was handled by the most technical person in the organisation.
  • Network "down-time", inefficiency and loss of important data are costly and in today’s competitive market, can make the difference between profit and loss. An educated, trained and competent Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer take the uncertainty out of networking and the industry is taking notice!
  • Individuals can now gain recognition of their technical skills and enhance their marketability.

A study conducted by the International Data Corporation, which was co-sponsored by IBM, Sybase Inc., Microsoft Corporation, and Drake Prometric determined that:

  • Companies that support professional network certification operate more reliable, productive and sophisticated client-server environments than companies that do not.
  • IT Staff Members are much more productive in companies that support certification

The Study also showed Certified Employees:

  • Have higher morale and commitment
  • Assure a certain level of expertise
  • Improve support quality and service
  • Reduce overall costs
