Jon Kerbey has joined PCSG as our Digital Transformation Director, adding further depth and expertise to our industry-leading team.

Jon was responsible for leading the development and implementation of digital strategies for both Heathrow Airport and HS2. He has developed, during a 20-year career, a deep knowledge around how to unlock the benefits of a digital, data-driven approach towards the design, build and operation of our built assets.

Jon joins PCSG at an exciting period, following our acquisition, in October 2020, by the Cohesive Companies, the consultancy services arm of Bentley Systems Inc, the Nasdaq-listed leading global provider of software solutions to accelerate project delivery and improve asset performance.

As part of the Cohesive Companies, PCSG is poised to deepen its offering to existing clients and broaden its scope. Under its new ownership, PCSG is also positioned to accelerate its mission to embed digital techniques and capabilities within the lifecycle of the built environment so as to unlock improved social, environmental and financial outcomes.

During his time at Heathrow Airport, Jon developed ambitious digital strategies for the Expansion Programme and more recently for Heathrow Airport as a whole. Jon also established and led a digital transformation programme touching all areas of capital delivery and operations.

Experienced in advising across all key aspect of transformation – process, culture and commercial – he combines a detailed knowledge of BIM, the asset lifecycle and connected data environments with an outcomes-focused approach.

Announcing the appointment, Mark Bew, Chairman of PCSG, said: “It is fantastic to have Jon on board. We have worked together for a long time, and we share the same enthusiasm for developing digital strategies that will make a significant and lasting difference to their organisations and the people they serve.”

Jon said: “I’m thrilled to be a part of PCSG and the wider Cohesive Companies group. Having been client-side for the last ten years, it is incredibly exciting to have the opportunity to share my experience and lessons learned with other projects and organisations.”

Jon’s appointment follows PCSG’s selection to support some of the country’s biggest infrastructure projects. These include HS2, where it is supporting the mega-railway to integrate the vast volume of asset and project data it is managing and procuring and to make it readily available to those who need it using our GeoConnect+ cloud-based technology platform.
